Mentally healthy people in a healthy society.

Join Our Board

The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Mid-Island Branch is seeking qualified people to join its volunteer Board of Directors. We are looking for individuals whose skills, passion, and experience align with CMHA's vision, mission, and values.

Who we are

Who is CMHA Mid-Island? We are inclusive, proactive, steadfast, compassionate, collaborative, and community social service leaders. Our organizational culture is at the heart of who we are and what we do. At the same time, we manage a growing multi-site and hybrid remote work environment for approximately 50 diverse employees and many incredible peer workers.

As an employer, CMHA Mid-Island strives to create a workplace that respects and values all individuals, minimizes bias, and promotes the equity, diversity, and inclusion of different perspectives and ideas. At CMHA Mid-Island, that means welcoming diversity in mental health, race, ethnicity, and culture. It also means diverse abilities, age, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, gender identities, education, marital status, language, and physical appearance. These values are embedded in the work CMHA Mid-Island does every day.
